The FPA promotes the responsible manufacture, sourcing, distribution, usage and disposal of food and foodservice packaging. It represents the industry with all four UK governments and engages with key government departments and committees. Foodservice packaging is under unprecedented pressure from government legislation (such as plastics tax, EPR, DRS and consistent collections) and from the impact on the industry of the coronavirus pandemic.

The FPA usually runs several events each year, including our Environment Conference, Annual Awards, Golf & Activities Day, Annual Lunch, as well as regular webinars and field visits.
