BUNZL TRIUMPH AT FPA GOLF DAY

BUNZL TRIUMPH AT FPA GOLF DAY

FPA Golf Winners 2015 5

The general consensus of those attending the FPA’s 2015 Golf and Activities Day at DeVere Staverton Park Northamptonshire, was that it was the best to date, with the team from Bunzl Catering Supplies coming out top of the leader board. The weather proved ideal for golf with plenty of sunshine from the first to the last hole.  A great day’s golf was enjoyed by all, in the company of former European Tour player and international Golf Trick Show host David Edwards.   Events were followed by the traditional drinks and barbecue at the 19th Hole, followed by fun with luminous balls.

Some 70 members and their guests took part in the Golf and a further 20 took part in the activities which included golf tuition.

Organisers Martin Kersh and Graham Foster said: “It was a great day on and off the golf course.  Staverton Park and David Edwards were superb hosts and the video that was taken during the day by David and his team and played back during the evening was a real hit.  The superb weather and setting was topped off by great company and a sociable evening.”

FPA Chairman Howard Colliver announced the prizes at the evening barbecue and that the event has raised an impressive £1,250 for the FPA’s charities Hospitality Action and Springboard, through sponsorship of the various holes, a superb raffle and a £10 note draw.
