The FPA Annual Environment Seminar is to be held at Stationers’ Hall, St. Paul’s, London on Wednesday 23 January 2019.

Lord Deben will open the seminar and chair the morning session.  Mark Pawsey will be chairing the afternoon session our guest speakers will be….
Dr Thérèse Coffey MP, Under Secretary of State for the Environment at Defra.
Dr Coffey’s portfolio covers the critical issues impacting on foodservice packaging. We are sure the Minister will be providing essential insight into the soon to be launched Defra Resource and Waste Strategy which will have huge impact for you all.
Dr Andy Rees, Head of Waste Strategy for the Welsh Government. 
Andy has spearheaded Wales’s huge rise up the global recycling table.
Tony Juniper, World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF)   
The WWF is considered by many to be the leading non government organisation on packaging and the environment.  Having the WWF address our seminar is a major coup for the FPA.
Professor Richard Thompson OBE.
Prof. Thompson is a marine biologist and a leading authority on the problems caused by plastic pollution in the marine environment.
Lord Deben.
Chairman of the UK’s independent Committee on Climate Change and a member of the House of Lords.
Professor David Bucknall.
Prof. at Herit-Watt University. David and his team have had recent exposure for their research, which indicates banning plastic could lead to increased damage to the environment.
