FPA Executive Director Martin Kersh is chairing a debate on paper cups as part of the ‘Outside the Box’ programme at the Pro2Pac event, ExCel March 21 from 13.00-14.00.

Martin has curated the debate which features an impressive line-up of industry experts, who don’t necessarily share the same opinions. Says Martin “The industry is working very hard to increase significantly the recovery and recycling of paper cups and has made great progress in recently months. However there is still much work to do and we need to keep the up the momentum and ensure we communicate progress at every opportunity.

“We maintain a dialogue with those organisations who may not share our views and we are grateful to the Pro2Pac Forum for enabling this debate with the key players on this issue. This debate has already created major interest amongst visitors, exhibitors and media.”

Taking part in the Paper Cups debate on 21 March are Joanna Gilroy, Head of Sustainability, Bunzl Catering Services, Adrian Pratt, Marketing Manager, Benders Paper Cups and Vice-Chair of the Paper Cup Recovery and Recycling Group (PCRRG) , Dr Chris Sherrington, Eunomia Research & Consulting, Simon Rayner, Director of Campaigning Impact, Friends of the Earth and Peter Goodwin, Director, Simply Cups.
