Your FPA member dashboard

Welcome to your FPA member dashboard

Everything you need – all in one place ...

This is where you'll find a ton of resources, and special membership benefits which your company can take advantage of. The first step is to complete your profile with your company details, contacts, social media links, and a list of the product or services types you offer, so potential customers can find you easily. You can choose whether to make your listing private, public, or exclusive to FPA members.

Legislation and compliance

These tabs can be called whatever we like. Each of them will contain a link through to a separate web page only viewable by logged in members. This space will give a short description of what that page contains and link to it. We are restricted to six tabs, so I have created a separate card for each of our own events which could contain member-specific information and booking rates, etc., It could also be a single place for members to check instructions re the Award Exhibition and the Awards for example. Table plans and programmes could also be downloaded from that area. Over time members will realise that all the information they need is in one place and easily accessible, rather than them having to trawl back through emails or hassle Lisa :-)

This 'Key dates' page can contain the important dates and milestones as suggested by Mark. Submission dates for EPR and other deadlines. They can be displayed within a table and updated at will. Is there somewhere Lisa and I can access this information or will the SAGA committee be able to provide them?

This page can contain anything Anne and the other committee members want it too. It can link to the FPA Code of Practice, provide definitions on plastic free, greenwashing, biodegradable, sustainable, etc.,and also include the link to the compliance complaint form currently sitting in Google docs. Alternatively we can create a new form in HubSpot and collect responses there (exportable into an Excel spreadsheet whenever required). The content here can build on what already exists on the public compliance page.

This page can include whatever the SAGA committee would like it to plus links to government legislation and other useful links. Please could Martin and/or the committee supply these to Louise and Lisa.

We currently only have the FPA pEPR Guide, so unless we can add a couple of others this may be a tab we add further down the line. In the meantime, the pEPR Guide could sit under the compliance tab

We could include useful links here – if we don't incorporate those into the separate compliance and legislation tabs.

Conferences and events

Links to booking forms, Awards Exhibition information, details of the evening, table plans, programmes and access to all photography taken during the event. Some, but not all this information will be available on the main website.

Booking details and links to member pricing. Agenda, directions, opportunities to pose questions before the event, post event surveys and images from the event.

Pre-event: information, directions and booking forms.

Post event: details of the winners and access to all the photography from the day.

Early booking for FPA webinars, exclusive access to webinar recordings, plus pre-and post webinar surveys with an opportunity to add questions to be posed to the speakers.

This will link to the list of international conferences and events. A list of known events has been circulated for review. If possible Nathan could this section display as a calendar?

Job board

Your active vacancies

If you have vacancies in your company you can advertise them here, select whether to make them visible to other FPA members only or to anyone visiting the FPA website, collect responses and CVs here or link to your company's own online recruitment process.

Notes for the FPA team: the job board would need to sit on the main website, which according to the advice from ChatGPT is typically allowable as long as there are no charges being made (I will forward the text to you all, but we should run it past the FPA's lawyers in any event).

To the public the page would only display the jobs members had opted to take public, but logged in members would be able to view all vacancies. Hovering on each of the advertised jobs below includes a link to further information and the associated application form. For companies with their own online process the further information can link to that instead or forward the applicants details and via email to a specified contact. The 'Post a job' button below would pull up a series of fields to be populated with details about the vacancy

Add colleagues to the Friday Digest distribution list

Your company's FPA membership extends to your work colleagues too. If you currently forward the Friday Digest to others, should one of them unsubscribe, it will stop you receiving it. Instead, you can add as many work colleagues as you like to the distribution list by typing their details into this form.

Should they want to unsubscribe at any time they can then opt-out themselves without it impacting on your own subscription.

FPA team: other ideas and considerations ...

  • We need to add disclaimers where necessary.
  • Do we allow members to upload their press releases for displaying with their member profiles. Would require approval by the Compliance Team prior to publication, but also ensures members are not putting out false claims.
  • Include additional filters on the public member profiles e.g. manufacturer, distributor, retailer, buying group, compliance partner, etc,.
  • Allow members to message other members.
  • Set up a member forum where members can engage with one another (could be difficult to police).
  • Create focus groups – inviting expert member repesentatives to participate in hosted discussions (could also generate newsworthy material)
  • Themed online panel discussions – could also include members as long as they don't see it as a selling opportunity.
  • Press release service for smaller businesses without their own marketing/PR departments. Could draft and distribute but would need to cover costs
  • Do we make receiving the Friday Digest via email early on a Friday morning a member benefit only, but add the content to the website on a Monday morning for everyone to see.
  • If we restrict access to a Digest archive how far back do we go e.g January 2024, with all 2024 issues just links back to the online Mailchimp versions and 2025 added to the new back catalogue with key images only (also has an SEO benefits).
  • Do we move all our email marketing from Mailchimp into HubSpot? Need to consider the number of images in each Digest and check whether over time it might slow down website load times. Also need to bear in mind that if archive versions are linked to the online Mailchimp instances these may no longer work.

Propose a member
